Nintendo has officially announced that Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will launch on May 21, for the Nintendo Switch 2. The release date reveal arrived as part of the company’s celebrations for MAR10 Day, the annual event dedicated to the iconic Mario franchise and its beloved characters.

Alongside the announcement, Nintendo also shared a brand-new trailer showcasing gameplay and offering a closer look at the charming adventure awaiting players when the game arrives later this year.

A Storybook Adventure Starring Yoshi

In Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, players step into the shoes of the cheerful dinosaur hero Yoshi as he explores the pages of a magical talking book named Mr. E. The book is home to a wide variety of strange and quirky creatures, but Mr. E has lost his memories about them and needs Yoshi’s help to rediscover everything about the world inside his pages.

Each page of the book represents a different habitat filled with unusual critters. Players will open the book, travel into these environments, and interact with the creatures in various ways to uncover how they behave and what makes them unique.

Through experimentation and curiosity, Yoshi gradually helps restore Mr. E’s knowledge about the inhabitants of the mysterious book.

Experiment, Discover, and Collect Stars
