Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection is Steam Deck Verified, meaning the game is fully optimized and ready to play on Valve’s handheld device right out of the box when it launches. Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection launches on March 27, 2026, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The package brings together all three games in the Star Force series along with their alternate versions: Mega Man Star Force Leo, Dragon, and Pegasus; Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja and Zerker x Saurian; and Star Force 3 Black Ace and Red Joker. That’s seven versions of the trilogy in one release.

For those unfamiliar with the series, the Star Force games originally launched on the Nintendo DS in 2006 as a follow-up to the Mega Man Battle Network franchise. The games are set in the year 220X and follow 11-year-old Geo Stelar, who teams up with an alien named Omega-Xis to fight enemies across a futuristic world built on Wave technology. Gameplay mixes RPG elements with action combat and a card-based battle system.
The collection comes with a number of upgrades over the original releases. The soundtrack has been completely rearranged, and a high-resolution filter has been added to freshen up the visuals. Players can collect over 150 cards to build decks, including event-exclusive and toy-related cards that were previously very difficult or impossible to obtain. Assist options and difficulty settings have also been added for players who want a more flexible experience.
On top of that, the collection includes a ranked online battle mode, a music player, and a gallery with over 1,000 images. Online functionality will also be fully restored, allowing players to trade cards and battle each other online — similar to what Capcom did with the Battle Network Legacy Collection.
