Ketsu Battler is getting its first crossover character. Developer KAYAC announced that Beelzebub from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will join the game as a free guest character on January 18. Ketsu Battler is a fighting game where players control characters using motion controls. The game uses a Joy-Con controller that players strap to their body to perform movements in battle. Characters in the game typically use weapons like swords and axes during fights.
Beelzebub brings a different fighting style to the roster. Instead of traditional weapons, he uses the wings on his back for attacks. He also has access to Chaos Legion, one of his signature moves from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising that creates a large explosion.
The collaboration came about after the development team behind Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising took notice of Ketsu Battler. The team was impressed enough to organize the game’s first esports tournament, which will take place on January 18—the same day Beelzebub becomes available.

While Beelzebub appears as a tall, imposing character in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, his Ketsu Battler version is smaller in size. This makes him similar in scale to other fighters in the game, including a gorilla character that appears on the roster. The Beelzebub update will be free for all Ketsu Battler players when it releases on January 18.
