TOHO Co., Ltd. has officially announced that the first permanent GODZILLA STORE in Southeast Asia will open in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 9 January 2026. Located on the 2nd floor of LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, the store marks the next phase of TOHO’s international expansion of the Godzilla brand. This follows the success of the first overseas store in Taipei, which opened on 26 September 2025 and has been praised by fans across the region.

A Giant Welcome for Fans

GODZILLA STORE Malaysia will feature a roughly 2-meter-tall Godzilla statue at its entrance. This statue represents the Godzilla from the 70th Anniversary special video, “70 Years of Godzilla: A New Roar in Southeast Asia,” released in May 2025. The display will instantly set the tone for an immersive fan experience. Visitors can explore themed walls, neon decorations, and multiple photo spots, creating the perfect backdrop for memorable moments.

Exclusive Merchandise and Collector’s Items

Inside the store, fans can browse a wide variety of officially licensed Godzilla merchandise. The collection includes figures, plush toys, apparel, and lifestyle items. Additionally, GODZILLA STORE Malaysia will gradually release exclusive items only available at this location. Both casual fans and collectors will find something appealing. The store also plans to host regular in-store events, encouraging fans to return often.

A Community Hub for Fans

Beyond shopping, the store aims to serve as a community hub for Godzilla enthusiasts and their families. Themed displays and in-store events will be held regularly, offering fans opportunities to gather, celebrate, and immerse themselves in the world of Godzilla.

The opening of the Malaysian store is part of TOHO’s strategy to expand the Godzilla brand across Southeast Asia. In collaboration with TOHO Entertainment Asia Pte.
