Square Enix has announced that the Octopath Traveler series has sold over six million copies worldwide. The six million sales figure represents combined sales across all three games in the series.
The series began with the original Octopath Traveler, followed by Octopath Traveler II, both of which are available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Players interested in trying the earlier games can take advantage of a current promotion, with digital versions of both titles discounted by 60 percent until December 23.

The news comes shortly after the release of Octopath Traveler 0, the newest game which launched on December 4. The title is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC through Steam and Microsoft Store.
Octopath Traveler 0 serves as a prequel to the and is based on the mobile game Champions of the Continent. The game introduces a custom protagonist system and features town-building mechanics alongside the series’ familiar turn-based combat. The entry takes players to the continent of Osterra, where they face three tyrants while rebuilding the destroyed village of Wishvale.
