Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA announced that the Nioh 3 demo will launch on January 29, 2026. At The Game Awards 2025, they revealed a new trailer, giving players a first look at the dark samurai action RPG sequel. Players can test their skills in solo or online multiplayer, and they can carry over their demo progress to the full game. This early preview gives fans a head start on the journey to become Shogun.
Demo Details and Multiplayer

Before saving Japan through time, players can sharpen their blades in the Nioh 3 demo. It supports up to three players in cooperative online play or solo runs. Additionally, completing the demo allows players to transfer their progress to the full game, keeping all earned experience and gear. Koei Tecmo promises to reveal further demo details closer to launch.
Exclusive Early Purchase Bonuses

Koei Tecmo also announced early purchase bonuses. Players who pre-order will receive armor sets inspired by previous protagonists: Youngblood Armor (Samurai) from William in Nioh and Lone Wolf’s Armor (Ninja) from Hiddy in Nioh 2. Fans redeem these items through the in-game Hellfrost Armor Set. Consequently, returning players gain a nostalgic and stylish advantage in Nioh 3.
Pre-Order Editions and Discounts

Newcomers can grab a 90% discount on Nioh: Complete Edition via Steam. Meanwhile, Nioh 3 is available for physical and digital pre-orders. Options include the Digital Deluxe Edition, Season Pass, or SteelBook Edition with two exclusive bonus DLCs. All editions come with the early purchase bonus, redeemable on PlayStation Store and Steam for a limited time.
