Blizzard Entertainment has announced World of Warcraft: Midnight, which launches worldwide on March 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM PST / March 3 at 7:00 AM MYT. Players who purchase any edition of the expansion can access Housing Early Access starting December 2, 2025, allowing them to claim a home and begin decorating before the full expansion goes live. In Midnight, players will confront Xal’atath, the Harbinger, and the Void, while exploring new zones, uncovering allies, and facing both familiar and deadly enemies.
Stake Your Claim with Housing Early Access and Come Home December 2!
With the release of the Midnight Prologue “The Warning” content update, players can join neighborhoods, select houses, and start decorating immediately. Housing Early Access gives a preview of themed décor, including Light-Infused and Void-Corrupted Rotundas and Fountains, as well as iconic character paintings.

Additionally, players who do not yet own Midnight can still collect housing items through achievements, in-game activities, or vendors across Azeroth. This ensures that everyone can experience the new feature, even if they join later.
Pre-Purchase World of Warcraft: Midnight—Adventure Is Calling You Home
Blizzard offers multiple editions of Midnight to suit different types of players. The Base Edition includes World of Warcraft: The War Within, Housing Early Access, and an Enhanced Level 80 Character Boost with upgraded gear and reputation progress. Meanwhile, the Heroic Edition adds the Lightwing Dragonhawk mount and the Lightstrider Raiment transmog set, along with 1,000 Trader’s Tender.

For those seeking the ultimate experience, the Epic Edition provides all Heroic content plus beta access, three days Early Access, 30 days of game time, additional mounts such as the Voidlight Surger and Voidwing Dragonhawk, pets like Hopeflutter and Doomfeathers, and the full Midnight Housing Pack. Furthermore, players receive 2,000 Trader’s Tender to spend at the Trading Post, giving them a strong head start.
Enhance Your Experience
Pre-purchasing the Epic Edition allows players to explore, decorate, and customize homes before the expansion launches. The Midnight Housing Decor includes Rotundas, Fountains, and character paintings to make each home unique.
Additionally, mounts like the Voidlight Surger, which changes colors dynamically, provide both visual flair and functionality. Players also receive enhanced level boosts, transmog sets, pets, and in-game currency to prepare for their adventures.
Midnight Leveling and Zones

The expansion introduces four new and reimagined zones. Eversong Woods has updated graphics and seamless Skyride traversal, letting players soar above forests and spires. Meanwhile, Zul’Aman, home to the Amani trolls, provides insight into their culture and history.

Harandar is a fungal jungle where the roots of the world trees converge, featuring the Rift of Aln, a zone where dreams and reality merge. Finally, Voidstorm is a hostile land filled with Void creatures, ruled by Xal’atath and her Devouring Host. Players will level to 90 while exploring these zones, forming alliances, and confronting the Void’s encroaching threat.
Arator’s Journey

Players can follow Arator, son of Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner, on a quest to gather relics of the Light. Starting in Eversong Woods, they can choose to explore Zul’Aman, Harandar, or continue Arator’s journey. Each path offers flexible progression, allowing players to engage deeply with lore while facing challenges from both Light and Void.
Meet and Befriend the Haranir

The Haranir are a new allied race who can join either the Horde or Alliance. Players can select from various classes and customize their appearance with bioluminescent paint. This addition broadens gameplay options and introduces new roleplaying opportunities for both veterans and newcomers.
New Demon Hunter Specialization: Devourer

Demon Hunters gain a third specialization, the Devourer, which uses Void powers and unique ranged abilities drawn from enemies. This new specialization complements existing playstyles and provides new strategies against Void-corrupted foes.
New Delves, Dungeons, and Raids

Midnight introduces ten new Delves, including a Nemesis Delve. Players will also face eight dungeons, such as Windrunner Spire and Voidscar Arena. Additionally, three new raids—The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, and March on Quel’Danas—feature nine bosses across the first season. Legendary companions, like Valeera Sanguinar, assist players in Delves, enhancing cooperative gameplay.
More Features

PvP receives an update with the Slayer’s Rise battleground, a 40v40 conflict in Voidstorm. Furthermore, Training Grounds help newcomers learn PvP mechanics. Additional activities, UI improvements, and expanded transmog options allow players to save multiple outfit appearances. Updated leveling systems and the Midnight Prologue make the expansion accessible to both new and returning players, while world exploration and story progression remain central.
Sign Up for the Midnight Beta

Epic Edition pre-purchasers gain beta access, with email invitations sent via the Battle.net desktop app. Players are advised to verify invitations to avoid phishing attempts, ensuring a safe and smooth beta experience.
Adventure Awaits

From the soaring spires of Eversong Woods to the Voidstorm’s cosmic horrors, World of Warcraft: Midnight delivers a rich continuation of the Worldsoul Saga. With new zones, dungeons, raids, Housing customization, and story-driven content, players can prepare to confront Xal’atath, the Harbinger, and the Void, shaping their own adventure in Azeroth.
