Lost Soul Aside is set to release its biggest free update on November 18. Game director Yang Bing confirmed the news while highlighting a new challenge mode, improved visuals, expanded audio, and major gameplay refinements. The update aims to create a sharper and more seamless adventure for both new and returning players.

Surge of Voidrax Brings a 100-Wave Endurance Challenge
The highlight of the update is Surge of Voidrax, a brutal wave-based mode built for players seeking nonstop action. Liana has created a new dimension to contain scattered Voidrax energy, but Phantom Voidrax keeps breaking through. Because of this, Kaser must enter the dimension and battle up to 100 escalating waves to stabilize the failing seal.

Every wave introduces tougher enemies, including classic bosses and diverse monsters. All weapons and skill trees unlock from the start, allowing players to experiment freely and adapt quickly. After each round, they can stop by Liana’s Shop to refill potions, adjust accessories, increase Arena Power, or grab new weapons.

Players can also earn exclusive Phantom Card cosmetics by clearing key milestones. These items unlock interdimensional appearances at Liana’s Workshop, giving players stylish rewards for their endurance.
Major Gameplay and Exploration Enhancements
The update also introduces wide-ranging improvements to streamline the overall experience. Players can now skip the prologue and jump straight into combat, which helps newcomers get into the action faster. Meanwhile, the new Voidrax Pathfinder guides players through difficult puzzles and tricky objectives, making exploration more intuitive.

Customization receives a boost with fresh armor sets, Crystal-style weapons, and customizable “X” weapon accessories. These additions help players shape a look that matches their playstyle.
Upgraded Cinematics and Smoother Combat Feel
Cutscenes have been completely revamped. Characters now display more expressive animations, while new lighting and shadow effects heighten the overall atmosphere. Environmental lip-syncing also brings conversations to life and strengthens the narrative flow.

Combat feels tighter thanks to refined actions such as rolling, double jumping, and weapon skills for tools like the Scythe and Greatsword. Players can also adjust their button layouts for full control customization, leading to smoother battles and cleaner combos. For more updates on the game, follow their official X account.
