Launched in 2017, Arcaea is rhythm mobile game that challenges players with exciting Japanese music composed by popular independent artists including ak+q, Laur, Team Grimoire, and PSYQUI. The game recently gets their newest major update – version 1.7 with new songs, new features and a new storyline for one of its main character, Hikari!

Available for 5 USD (about RM20), Hikari’s new story pack “Luminous Sky” will feature a long-awaited continuation of her story – which includes 5 new difficult, thematic songs by artists such as Sakuzyo and xi. Other than that, 3 new songs are now available for free through the World Mode in the newly-added Chapter 3.

Also, the World Mode is getting several new features as below:

• Legacy Chapters: Play through the first part of World Mode, Chapter 1, at an accelerated pace and use additional stamina and Fragments to increase the end result.
• New Step Types: When landing on certain steps in World Mode, the player must play a specific song. Now, several new step types will appear in new maps, such as random song steps and bonus stamina steps.
