Developer Ultizero Games has rolled out a new patch for Lost Soul Aside, updating the stylish action RPG to version 1.012 on both PlayStation 5 and PC. This latest update addresses several major bugs and enhances overall performance across both platforms, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience for players diving back into the game’s fast-paced battles and cinematic storytelling.
Major Bug Fixes Across Multiple Chapters

One of the most notable fixes resolves a softlock issue in Chapter 2: Skycrest Badlands – SkyMirror Lake, where the game could freeze after selecting “Not ready yet” during a dialogue with the character Gethya. Additionally, a rare save issue involving key weapons — the Stygian Wraith Polesword, Frosty Might Greatsword, and Ancient Thunder Greatsword — has been fixed. Players affected by this bug will automatically receive these weapons upon re-entering the game.
Several other mission-breaking issues have also been addressed, including one in Chapter 4 – Royal Court of Frosthold, where Kaser could unexpectedly fall through the map after a cutscene. Other fixes cover energy collection mini-games in Redstone Mines and Frosthold, as well as scene loading problems in the Harbour area.
Furthermore, repetitive dialogue lines from the companion character Arena and missing sound effects during Kaser’s Fusion Blast have been corrected, ensuring a more polished and immersive combat experience.
Gameplay and Performance Optimizations

In addition to bug fixes, Ultizero Games has refined various gameplay systems for better responsiveness and presentation. The interaction logic with Liana has been improved, allowing players to engage with her more freely without waiting for specific animations to finish. A new “Auto Camera Rotation During Standby” toggle has also been added for those who prefer dynamic camera movement.
Performance has been optimized as well, particularly during high-intensity sequences such as the Water Golem battle in Chapter 3 – Lethonix Dimension, where frame rates previously fluctuated. Visual elements, including Zana’s gaze direction during multi-character scenes, have also been adjusted for more natural dialogue flow.
PC players benefit from additional platform-specific upgrades, including fixes for widescreen display issues and an optimized field of view (FOV) for broader on-screen perspectives.
