Gust and Akatsuki Games announced that Honoka from the Dead or Alive series has joined Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator as a playable character. Her arrival marks the second phase of the ongoing collaboration with Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, which earlier featured Marie Rose.
Honoka Arrives in Atelier Resleriana
Honoka brings her energetic personality and charm to the world of Atelier Resleriana. Gust released a new trailer, in-game render, and special artwork by @fubuki_works on X to celebrate her debut. The collaboration blends Dead or Alive’s beach-themed style with Atelier Resleriana’s fantasy setting, giving players new story events and interactions featuring Honoka.

This crossover also reflects Gust and Akatsuki’s goal to keep the game fresh through collaborations with other popular franchises. Players can expect limited-time events, exclusive outfits, and new dialogue scenes that highlight Honoka’s playful personality.
The Previous Collaboration and Game Availability

The first part of this crossover introduced Marie Rose, another fan-favorite from Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation. Her inclusion fit perfectly within the game’s art direction and lighthearted tone. Honoka now continues that success, bringing even more excitement to the collaboration.

Currently, Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator remains exclusive to Japan. It was once available globally on PC via Steam and mobile devices through iOS and Android but was later shut down outside Japan. Despite this, the game still attracts attention for its high-quality visuals and regular crossover events.

Fans outside Japan can enjoy the offline spin-off, Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian. It’s available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. In Japan, the game also supports PlayStation 4, offering a non-gacha, story-driven experience for players who prefer single-player adventures.

Honoka’s debut further strengthens the connection between Koei Tecmo’s popular series, combining Atelier’s alchemy with Dead or Alive’s familiar characters. Players in Japan can now log in to recruit Honoka and take part in her limited-time collaboration event. For more updates, be sure to follow their official X account.
