Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the next wave of titles joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers, alongside the Classics Catalog lineup for Premium members. The October 2025 update brings a mix of horror, drama, action and nostalgia. All titles will be available starting 21 October.
A Month Packed with Variety
This month’s lineup delivers something for everyone, whether you prefer story-driven adventures, horror remakes or open-world survival games. Each title adds depth and diversity to the growing PlayStation Plus library.

As Dusk Falls begins the lineup with a gripping interactive crime drama. Created by the lead designer of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, the story follows two families whose lives collide after a robbery gone wrong. Every choice affects the outcome, encouraging players to replay and uncover new story branches.

Meanwhile, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 brings its eerie factory setting to PlayStation. Players explore the abandoned Playtime Co. facility, where vengeful toys lurk in the shadows. Using the GrabPack, they can solve puzzles, hack circuits and survive long enough to uncover the mystery behind the factory’s fall.
Horror Classics Return

Fans of horror have plenty to enjoy this month. The highlight of the lineup is Silent Hill 2, the long-awaited remake of the 2001 classic. Players once again step into the shoes of James Sunderland as he searches for answers in the fog-covered town of Silent Hill. With enhanced visuals, haunting sound design and modern gameplay, this remake aims to capture the essence of psychological horror for a new audience.

In addition, Until Dawn makes a comeback, rebuilt completely for modern hardware. The story follows eight friends trapped in an isolated mountain lodge, where every choice determines who lives and who dies. Improved lighting, character animations and gameplay mechanics give the game a cinematic polish that heightens every tense decision.
New Worlds and Fresh Adventures

For those seeking something more expansive, V Rising offers a dark, open-world survival experience. Players awaken as weakened vampires who must hunt for blood, rebuild their castles and survive in a world full of mythical threats. Whether exploring alone or joining friends online, players can raid, trade or wage war in this world of blood and power.

Meanwhile, Wizard with a Gun mixes magic with chaos. This cooperative sandbox adventure lets players craft enchanted ammunition, design weapons and explore dangerous landscapes. The world reacts unpredictably to magic, making every encounter both creative and risky.
Rounding out the selection, Yakuza: Like a Dragon returns to the service. It follows Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking yakuza betrayed by his family. Mixing turn-based RPG combat with over-the-top street battles, it remains one of the series’ most engaging and heartfelt entries.
A Classic Fighter Makes Its Return

Premium subscribers also get a nostalgic treat with Tekken 3 joining the Classics Catalog. This PlayStation legend returns with up-rendered graphics, rewind support and custom filters. Players can revisit classic modes such as Arcade, Versus and Team Battle, now enhanced with modern features for smoother play.
A Lineup Balancing Horror, Action and Nostalgia
October’s PlayStation Plus lineup blends classic horror, cinematic storytelling and long-term adventures. With Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn leading the spooky season, and V Rising and Yakuza: Like a Dragon offering deep exploration and combat, this month’s update feels especially strong.
All titles will be available from 21 October for active PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. Whether you enjoy tense narratives, supernatural survival or nostalgic fighting games, this lineup delivers something
