Japanese-inspired indie publisher Top Hat Studios, Inc. has announced that Silly Polly Beast, a dark story-driven shooter by solo developer Andrei Chernyshov, will launch globally on October 28, 2025, at 8 AM PST / 11 PM MYT. It will be available for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox.
A Descent into Madness
In Silly Polly Beast, players take on the role of Polly, a girl who has just escaped a terrifying orphanage. Unfortunately, her freedom comes with a price, as she plunges into the eerie depths of the underworld.

Polly must face haunting visions, twisted enemies, and painful memories from her past. The game mixes fast-paced gunfights, psychological storytelling, and survival horror elements, creating a tense and emotional experience.
Genre-Bending Gameplay
Silly Polly Beast combines several genres into one seamless adventure. Players can expect perspective-shifting combat, moving between top-down and side-scrolling shooter modes. In addition, there are stealth, puzzle-solving, and even skateboarding sections.

As Polly’s powers grow, her abilities in both combat and exploration also evolve. Players can use forbidden spells and powerful skills to survive the horrors hidden in the fog.
The Underworld Awaits
Throughout the journey, Polly will encounter many strange and mysterious denizens of the underworld. Some may offer guidance, while others are not as friendly.

Every encounter reveals more about Polly’s pact and the world she’s trapped in. The game’s atmosphere blends haunting visuals and unsettling music, building a dark yet captivating world.
Global Launch and Language Support
Silly Polly Beast will launch globally with support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Ukrainian. Review keys will be available for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.

However, a strict embargo remains in place until October 28, 5 AM Pacific Time / 8 PM MYT. Interested players can try the free demo now on steam. For more updates on the game be sure to follow Top Hat Studios on their official X account.
