Atlus West and Sega have officially launched Version 2.1 of Persona 5: The Phantom X on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam. This latest update delivers a summer-themed adventure packed with fresh content, including a new Phantom Thief, seaside events, and special seasonal activities. Players can download the update now through the App Store, Google Play, or Steam.
A Summer Adventure Awaits
Running until October 8, the seasonal event “Summer! Swimsuits! Sea Time! Part One” introduces an original story set during a seaside school trip. Players can enjoy mini-games, collect event items, and unlock new costumes, weapons, and rewards. Notably, limited stages such as the Beach Mystery and Summer Festival feature special battles that boost rewards when certain characters are used.

The Shooting Challenge Event also offers a unique twist, tasking players with defeating pirates to earn event-exclusive Seashells, Meta Jewels, and other rare resources. As stages are cleared, additional support characters join the journey, further enriching gameplay.
New Phantom Thief Joins the Roster

The highlight of this update is the arrival of Motoha, now available as the 5 star “Tropical Motoha.” Appearing in a summer outfit, she excels as a powerful Bless-attribute attacker. Her abilities grow stronger the more she recovers HP, while her third skill unleashes heavy area damage and triggers the “Summer Hype” state, enhancing her entire skillset for devastating combos. You can watch her skills spotlight here.
Side Stories and Fireworks Festival

Beyond combat, Version 2.1 introduces Summer Memories, a series of special side stories featuring Motoha, Riko, and Lufel. Players who complete these stories can invite friends to participate in the Fireworks Festival, available until October 22. By collecting Fireworks Shells, players can create colorful displays while unlocking additional rewards, further expanding the festive atmosphere.
Available Now in the West

With Version 2.1, Persona 5: The Phantom X continues to blend stylish storytelling with engaging turn-based combat. The update expands both the narrative and gameplay depth, giving fans plenty of reasons to dive back in. Players across the West can now experience this new chapter on iOS, Android, and PC (Steam).
