SEGA has unveiled new details and a trailer for Career Mode in Project Motor Racing, launching on November 25, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Windows. Developed by Straight4 Studios and published by GIANTS Software, this upcoming title aims to deliver the ultimate racing simulator experience.
Build and Manage Your Racing Legacy

In Career Mode, players don’t just race — they also manage every aspect of a professional racing team. From balancing budgets to competing in championships, every choice influences long-term success. Furthermore, the mode offers a rich single-player journey while simultaneously preparing players for global competition in multiplayer.
Budgets, Finances, and Sponsorships
The game introduces three preset starting budgets plus one custom option, giving players the freedom to set their own path. Moreover, vehicle prices, repair costs, entry fees, and travel expenses all add financial pressure, making money management an essential skill.

Regional differences also impact both costs and income, so choosing a home base becomes a strategic decision. In addition, the sponsorship system replicates real-world motorsport negotiations, with eight sponsor types ranging from flat-fee contracts to performance-based rewards.
Authentic Mode and Player Accessibility
For those seeking realism, Authentic Mode raises the stakes by removing restarts — a single mistake could end an entire season. As a result, players must treat every weekend like a real race team would, carefully weighing risks and rewards. However, Career Mode also provides flexibility, offering shorter or longer campaign lengths to suit both casual players and hardcore fans.

Project Motor Racing will release worldwide on November 25, 2025, with a physical edition available only on PlayStation 5. Additionally, the game supports single-player and up to 32-player online multiplayer with full cross-platform play. Find out more about the game and any updates on their official X account.
