SEGA has launched the “Cross Thai” Tuk-tuk Wrapping Campaign for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Sonic’s latest racing adventure is sparking excitement not only on-screen but also across real-world streets. SEGA is blending gaming with local culture, bringing fans a unique celebration ahead of the game’s launch.
Sonic Takes Over Bangkok Streets

From September 17 to November 12, 34 MuvMi electric tuk-tuks will cruise through Bangkok’s Chula-Samyan and Sukhumvit routes. Moreover, each vehicle carries colorful Sonic designs, while two feature exclusive fan-voted artwork. As a result, daily commutes now feel like a celebration of Sonic’s racing spirit.
Spot the Tuk-tuk Contest
Fans can also join the fun through the “Spot the Tuk-tuk” contest, running from September 19 to October 1. To enter, participants must follow Sonic the Hedgehog SEA and MuvMi on Facebook.

Then, they should snap a Sonic tuk-tuk photo and share it on the official contest thread, tagging two friends. Consequently, ten winners will earn MuvMi ride vouchers and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds merchandise.
Animated Trailer and Free Demo Now Live
At the same time, SEGA has released a new animated trailer. It showcases Sonic, Shadow, Dr. Eggman, and others racing across worlds. Meanwhile, players can try the free demo on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games.

The demo features four characters, eight courses, and machine customization options. Importantly, save data carries over to the full release.
Full Release Coming Soon
Finally, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds officially launches on September 25, 2025. The game offers crossplay support and the largest roster in the series’ history. Furthermore, DLC racers include Hatsune Miku, Persona 5’s Joker, PAC-MAN, and more. With races shifting between land, sea, and air, players can expect unpredictable and chaotic action.
