Multiple Storylines to Explore

Players can choose from three different story modes. The Main Story introduces the Closing Order with Zero Restrictions (CLOZER) unit, led by Sagan Shinomiya, the adopted sister of Kikoru Shinomiya who joined the U.S. Defense Force. In contrast, Memories Mode recreates famous scenes from the manga and anime. Meanwhile, Character Stories reveal original scenarios that highlight the daily lives and relationships of the cast.
Strategic Combat System
Combat relies on forming squads of four Defense Force officers to battle powerful kaiju. Each officer has unique skills and Ultimate abilities that can expose an enemy’s core. Popular characters such as Kafka Hibino, Mina Ashiro, Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya, Soshiro Hoshina, and Isao Shinomiya are part of the roster.

Furthermore, pairing officers as battle buddies provides extra support in combat, encouraging teamwork and careful squad planning.
Progression and Equipment Crafting
Players can strengthen their squads through several progression systems. These include enhancing attributes, upgrading skills, and equipping powerful gear. Using the Unipart R&D system, players craft equipment with randomized stats. Additionally, materials from quests allow fine-tuning of squads and create new strategies over time.

Kaiju No. 8 The Game blends strategic gameplay, original storylines, and a cast of fan-favorite characters. With its PC release, even more players can join the Defense Force and face the kaiju threat. For more updates and information on all available platforms, visit the game’s official website.
