The Digital Interactive Creative Excellence (DICE) 3.0 programme concluded its activities during the ASEAN Digital Content Summit 2025, celebrating the creative achievements of students from across Southeast Asia. The closing ceremony marked the end of a competition that brought together young digital creators from four countries.
DICE is a training and competition programme that supports creative entrepreneurship and helps students develop their skills in digital content creation. The programme focuses on areas like video production, short animation, game development, and digital content creation. This year’s DICE 3.0 gathered 320 students and lecturers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Brunei. The programme featured 64 creative digital content projects across different categories including short animations, short films, interactive media applications, and digital games applications.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir spoke at the ceremony, highlighting the importance of the programme. He noted that DICE 3.0 being listed in the Malaysia Book of Records represents a national achievement. The minister emphasized how the programme helps develop student talent and makes higher education students more competitive in creative digital content fields.
The event included an exhibition where students presented their work at special booths across four main categories. The highlight was the DICE 3.0 Awards, which recognized the best projects in animation, film, interactive media, and digital games.
