Fans of Netflix’s hit show Wednesday can now step into the spooky world of Nevermore Academy before Season 2 arrives. The streaming platform has brought the “Nevermore Academy: Malaysia Campus” experience to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, giving visitors a chance to live out their Nevermore student dreams.
The event is running from August 1-17, 2025, at the LG2 Blue Concourse of Sunway Pyramid. While it’s not a massive event, it offers a fun 30-minute experience that lets you walk through key locations from the show and complete interactive challenges.
What to Expect at Nevermore Academy
When you arrive, you’ll get a report card to track your progress as you move through different areas of the academy. The experience starts at the famous Nevermore Academy gates before taking you to the Student Centre for orientation, where you’ll receive your student ID.
The event features four main activity areas. At the Nightshade Library, you’ll use UV light to hunt for hidden clues and find the right book, just like in the show’s first season. The Alchemy & Transmutation area lets you mix simple chemicals – sodium, water tubes and chemical powder – to create color reactions. In the Elemental Botany section, you’ll create flower arrangements with a skeleton theme, using your creativity to decorate and balance the skeleton with floral touches.
The final stop is a recreation of Wednesday and Enid’s shared dorm room from the series. Here, you’ll search for hidden items using a small card while also getting great photo opportunities in the detailed room setup. Each completed activity earns you a stamp (called a “chop”) on your report card. Finish all four challenges and you can collect a final token at the redemption counter.
The event runs daily from 10am to 10pm, except for August 1 which starts at 4pm. It’s designed for both serious Wednesday fans and casual visitors looking for something fun to do at the mall. The interactive elements and photo opportunities make it especially appealing for social media enthusiasts.
