Team Serenity is a pretty new Dota 2 team that was founded back in September 2017 owned by Weibo.com. The team had qualified for several regional qualifiers in DPC Major/Minor tournaments but didn’t quite make it. However, during the China Main Qualifiers, they were able to beat LGD.Forever Young and Invictus Gaming in the playoff stage which made them the first to secure a spot at the TI8.

The VGJ Dota 2 team was created back in September 2016 with Jeremy Lin, a professional basketball player, endorsing the team (hence the name Vici Gaming Jeremy).
