The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) has revealed new details for Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS2025), specifically highlighting the return of its Family Game Park, set to take place on September 27 and 28, 2025 at Makuhari Messe’s Event Hall highlighting free entry for kids.
This dedicated family-friendly attraction will run during the public days of TGS2025, offering free entry to children of junior high school age or younger and their guardians. Attendees can look forward to an interactive space that blends entertainment with creativity, welcoming young gamers and families into the world of gaming in a safe and exciting environment.
Two Themed Zones: Asobiba! and Manabiba!
This year’s Family Game Park will feature two distinct zones:

Asobiba! – A hands-on play area where children can try out demo versions of upcoming games from leading publishers such as CAPCOM, SEGA, KONAMI, SQUARE ENIX, LEVEL-5, and others.

Manabiba! – A learning-oriented zone offering game development workshops, creative activities, and insight into how games are made—perfect for aspiring young developers.
Family Activities and Exclusive Content
Beyond the zones, the Family Game Park will include:

A Kid’s Stage with live events

Character meet-and-greets with fan-favorite mascots

Kitchen car food trucks and a collaboration café menu

A stamp rally where participants can collect prizes by visiting different booths and attractions
Full Map and Schedule Now Available
The venue map and event schedule for Family Game Park 2025 are now available on the official TGS website, allowing families to plan ahead for their day at the event.
Influencer Registrations Opening Soon
CESA also announced that influencer registration for TGS2025 will open on August 5, 2025, divided into two categories:

Invited Influencers (by recommendation or affiliation)

General Influencers (open application)
Successful applicants will gain early access to the show on public days and be granted entry to a dedicated Creator Lounge.
What Else to Expect at TGS2025
Previously announced in February, Tokyo Game Show 2025 will take place from September 25–28, 2025, returning to Makuhari Messe, Chiba in a hybrid format with both on-site and online programs. The first two days (Sept 25–26) are reserved for business attendees, while September 27 and 28 are open to the public.
Held under the theme “Unlimited, Neverending Playground,” TGS2025 is expected to attract over 250,000 attendees across its four-day run, with 2,500 booths spanning across halls, conference spaces, and event areas.
