Nuverse has announced that their free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) action RPG Crystal of Atlan will make its worldwide debut on May 28. The Magicpunk-themed game will launch simultaneously across PlayStation 5, PC via client download and Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android platforms.

Already available in China since July 14, 2023, the global version promises to deliver a blend of magic and machinery in a distinctive Magicpunk setting. Players can look forward to fluid combat mechanics featuring aerial combos that expand traditional MMORPG gameplay beyond the standard horizontal plane.

The game features multiple character classes that are all available from the start, with each class offering more than 20 skill combinations for players to customize their combat experience. According to Nuverse, the combat system provides “seamless control over both skill casts and character movement,” designed to give players “a sense of effortless mastery.”

PlayStation 5 users can currently pre-order two separate item packs ahead of the launch. The first pack costs $9.99 (£7.99/€9.99/¥1,540) and includes a 15-day Phantasium Pass, a Starting Pack, 10 Arcanite of Brocade, and 720 Top-up Points. A second, more comprehensive pack is available for $19.99 (£15.99/€19.99/¥3,080), featuring a 30-day Phantasium Pass, an Advanced Adventurer’s Manual, a Starting Pack, 15 Arcanite of Brocade, and 1,440 Top-up Points.

Crystal of Atlan also emphasizes multiplayer elements, including cooperative dungeons and a guild fleet system for team-oriented gameplay. The narrative invites players to become “free-spirited adventurers” who will “uncover the secrets of ancient Atlan ruins and confront powerful factions” throughout their journey.
