Nihon Falcom recently released new trailers and the official website for the reimagining of the first chapter of the beloved game series, Trails in the Sky. The trailers include information and screenshots regarding its eight main characters and their voice casts.

The details are as follows:

Estelle Bright

(English VA: Stephanie Sheh, Japanese VA: Tomoyo Takayanagi)

Age: 16

Birthday: 7th August

Weapon: Staff

A Bracer trainee of the Guild with a bright and optimistic personality. Raised in the Liberl Kingdom training to become a Bracer to better protect the safety of civilians and the peace of cities. Due to her positive and sincere personality, it leads Estelle to easily trust others with the downside of acting out impulsively.

She possesses tremendous combat skills as she was trained by her father, who was a veteran Bracer and for the past 5 years she has strived to become a Senior Bracer alongside her adopted brother Joshua.

Joshua Bright 

(English VA: Johnny Young Bosch, Japanese VA: Natsumi Fujiwara)

Age: 16

Birthday: December 20th

Weapon: Dual Blades

Taken in by the Bright family five years ago, his amber eyes and jet-black hair makes him appear cool and composed while also burdened with a past he knows nothing about. Unlike his sister Estelle, he finds himself having to aid in her impulsiveness as he is intelligent and level-headed.

Joshua possesses peaceful hobbies that include reading and playing the harmonica. Due to the mystery of his past, he tends to be lost in thought and the habit to demean himself.

Scherazard Harvey

(English VA: Michelle Ruff, Japanese VA: Chika Anzai)

Age: 24

Birthday: 14th May

Weapon: Whip

The protagonist’s mentor and a Senior Bracer going by the alias of “Silver Flash.” She was under the apprenticeship of Estelle and Joshua’s father, Cassius, posing her as an older sister figure to them and the others. As her beauty is captivating, she also possesses a powerful physique and a protective and kind personality.

As she is a mentor, she offers support and guidance to Estelle and the others. But despite her responsible manner, she has low intolerance to alcohol and is known to be clingy when drunk.

Olivier Lenheim

(English VA: Matt Mercer, Japanese VA: Takehito Koyasu)

Age: 25

Birthday: April 1st

Weapon: Orbal Gun

A traveling musician hailing from the northern nation, the Erebonian Empire. He is musically gifted from everything to the piano to the lute and is unpredictably unknown, leaving others around him confused with his true motives when travelling to the Liberl Kingdom.

Although he may appear self-absorbed he also possesses a sharp insight that upon first meeting Estelle and others, he sees through their identities instantly. 

Agate Crosner

(English VA: Ben Pronsky, Japanese VA: Taku Yashiro)

Age: 24

Birthday: 30th July

Weapon: Great Sword

An abrasive Bracer with a good heart, his strength in wielding a great sword earned him the nickname “Heavy Blade.” Due to his ill-mannered demeanour, he treats Estelle and Joshua harshly out of their inexperience but due to his unmatched skill, he is trusted deeply by those around him.

As he is travelling around the Liberl Kingdom, he is seemingly gathering information to investigate a certain case.

Kloe Rinz

(English VA: Cristina Vee, Japanese VA: Hina Yorumiya)

Age: 16

Birthday: 11th October

Weapon: Rapier

A devoted and kind-hearted girl studying at the prestigious Jenis Royal Academy in the Ruan region. Due to her generosity and kind nature, she visits an orphanage nearby where she has gained the trust of the children and the headmistress despite not speaking the same language which proves difficult to communicate clearly but they do share a close bond with Sieg, the white falcon.

She was later acquainted with Estelle and Joshua as she was visiting a nearby village in relation to business with the orphanage.

Tita Russell

(English VA: Brianna Knickerbocker, Japanese VA: Hikaru Iida)

Age: 12

Birthday: 7th May

Weapon: Orbal Cannon

The hardworking granddaughter of the Orbment scientist, Professor Russel. Her warm, cheerful and earnest personality makes her loved by all as she was born into a family of scientists and engineers, she later developed a deep love for machines and has a knack for tinkering with them. Her only downside of losing sight of her surroundings as she becomes too focused.

Upon meeting Estelle and Joshua, the two of them dote on Tita endlessly while also considering the rest of the group as the older siblings she never had.

Zin Vathek

(English VA: Vic Chao, Japanese VA: Tetsu Inada)

Age: 30

Birthday: 4th September

Weapon: Gauntlet

A veteran Bracer from the Calvard Republic with a formidable physique and mastered one of three great eastern martial art styles, The Taito Style. Despite his large, bear-like figure, he has a soft and easy-going personality that makes him a reliable older brother figure with a soft spot for women.

His original intent when visiting to the Liberl Kingdom was to join a martial arts tournament but as he aided Estelle and Joshua on their travels, he decided to join them on their journey instead.

Trails in The Sky 1st Chapter launches this fall worldwide on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. More information can be viewed on the official website.
