Nightflower Pollen from the Ephemeral Blossom is a valuable trade item in Monster Hunter Wilds that can be exchanged for crucial late-game resources. Nightflower Pollen is a specialty item found exclusively in the Windward Plains region. Its primary value comes from its ability to be traded for either Gold Relic Tickets (used for obtaining Atrian materials) or Gold Melding Tickets (used for decorations) through Nata, the village trader.

To access the trading system for Nightflower Pollen:

1. Progress through the village storyline until you encounter Sekka from Suja
2. Complete the necessary dialogue to unlock the trading feature
3. Speak with Nata to begin trading items

Gathering Requirements and Locations

Nightflower Pollen has specific gathering conditions:

• Only available during full moon nights
• Can only be gathered once per night in the open world
• White-blooming flowers indicate readiness for collection

There are only two areas where you can find Nightflower Pollen:

• Area 10: Under a large tree (easier access)
• Area 3: Harder to reach, requires using a Heron Wyvern to glide from a high point

Important Notes and Methods After Patch 1.000.05.00

• Flowers now have a 7-minute cooldown between gatherings
• Even with a full moon, you must wait for this cooldown
• In missions, moon phases are now randomized
• The new recommended method:
  1. Rest until a full moon appears
  2. Collect the flower
  3. Wait 7 minutes for the flower to refresh
  4. Rest again until another full moon appears
  5. Collect the flower again

Using Your Nightflower Pollen

Trade with Nata for:

• Gold Relic Tickets (1 ticket = 15 Rarity 8 Atrian materials)
• Gold Melding Tickets (1 ticket = 20 Ancient Orb Armor decorations or 10 Ancient Orb Sword decorations)

Note that the availability of tickets may vary when trading with Nata. Sometimes only one type is offered, or neither may appear.

• The Botanist skill has no effect on Nightflower Pollen as it’s not classified as a consumable
• Using the map filter can help locate flowers more easily
• The moon cycle includes seven phases, with full moon being just one of them
