Digimon Partners Launch Crowdfunding Project for the Digimon 25th Anniversary

Digimon Partners, the official fan community for the Digimon series, has announced a crowdfunding project to commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. This initiative aims to fund a special advertising campaign in Tokyo, showcasing the enduring appeal of the franchise. The campaign coincides with the world premiere of the 25th-anniversary PV, “Digimon Adventure -BEYOND-,” at DIGIMON CON 2025 on March 20, 2025.

Celebrating 25 Years of Digimon Adventure

Since the debut of “Digimon Adventure” in 1999, the series has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, Digimon Partners is seeking to raise ¥2,500,000 to create a unique “peel-off” advertisement in the city. This innovative approach allows passersby to take home detachable goods from the posters, creating an interactive experience that brings fans closer to the franchise’s universe.

The campaign will feature exclusive illustrations of iconic characters such as Tai, Matt, Agumon, and Gabumon, specially created by Rie Nishimura, the series’ character designer. Additionally, it will include a special release of the beloved insert song “brave heart” on cassette tape, offering fans a nostalgic keepsake.

The crowdfunding campaign will officially open on January 20, 2025, at 8 PM.
