Lineage M by NCsoft has been launched since June 2017 and they are celebrating their first year anniversary! The game had garnered over 7,000,000 players in the first two weeks since its initial launch in South Korea and Taiwan, breaking the records of Lineage II: Revolution. On a recent media event held by NCsoft, they had announced a new “global version” of Lineage M that is currently in development for overseas markets like Japan, North America and China.

“We will soon unveil a new version of Lineage M that is currently under development with a goal of hitting wider markets beyond some countries including South Korea and Taiwan,” the company’s chief executive Kim Taek-jin told reporters on Tuesday during a press conference held to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Lineage M.

The new version was said to be “not simply a localization” however there’s no details shared during the media event. Concurrent to the announcement, they have also mentioned of a major update on the original version of Lineage M. There will be an additional exclusive new class for the mobile MMORPG, Gunman, along with other unique exclusive content for the mobile version which was revealed during the media event. Dragon Raid will also be coming to Lineage M, with a high definition remodeling update in the coming future.
