Blizzard’s mobile tower offense game Warcraft Rumble is making its way to PC, with a beta release scheduled for December 10 via the Battle.net launcher. The expansion to PC marks a significant milestone for the game, which launched as a mobile-exclusive title last year.

Warcraft Rumble, which features a distinctive toy-like aesthetic, combines elements from World of Warcraft and classic RTS games. Players engage in strategic battles by assembling teams consisting of one Warcraft Leader mini and six supporting units or spells. These teams face off against familiar bosses in various game modes, including maps, dungeons, and raids.

The PC version announcement came during the recent Warcraft Direct presentation. Players will be able to run Warcraft Rumble alongside other Battle.net games, including World of Warcraft, making it an ideal option for players looking to maximize their gaming time between WoW queue times.

While specific details about the PC implementation remain unconfirmed, the system is expected to mirror Hearthstone’s cross-platform functionality, allowing for seamless mobile and PC crossplay. Players will likely maintain access to their full collections across both platforms and enjoy cross-platform compatibility for PvP matches and PvE group content.

The presentation also revealed the introduction of Split Leaders, beginning with a rework of the Season 1 mini, Sylvanas, into a Horde-Undead character. Three new Split Leaders were announced: Malfurion Stormrage (Alliance-Cenarion), Orgrim Doomhammer (Blackrock-Horde), and Anub’arak (Beast-Undead). These Leaders will benefit from both faction bonuses and appear in faction-specific content for their respective families.

The PC release could potentially attract new players who were previously hesitant to try the mobile-only version, building upon the game’s established foundation of regular updates and monthly mini releases.
