Since the introduction of Alpha Crimson Weave and various other characters that enhance the combat experience in Punishing Gray Raven (PGR), many fans have drawn parallels to the Devil May Cry franchise. This connection shines through in numerous fan-made gameplay compilation videos featuring the theme song “Bury the Light,” an iconic track associated with Vergil, one of the franchise’s most well-known characters. The developers clearly recognize the strong feedback and the game’s appeal, particularly regarding its combat mechanics. As a result, this collaboration feels like a perfect match—almost a match made in heaven (or “hell,” given the Devil May Cry theme)—and has sparked immense enthusiasm among fans of both games, especially those who love PGR.

While specific details about the collaboration are still under wraps, players can expect at least one or more playable characters from Devil May Cry V.
