Studio FgG has officially announced the collaboration of Aster Tatariqus with the highly popular anime series, Demon Slayer.

The collaboration was announced on their X/Twitter, stating that the collaboration will last from 14th March 2024 to 30th April 2024.

Aside from the announcement itself, no further information has been released about the collaboration.

Aster Tatariqus is a simulation role-playing game developed by Studio FgG, otherwise known as gumi, and led by producer Jun Imaizumi and was exclusively released in Japan on August 2023.

The company is known for its work in other RPG games such as Brave Frontier, as well as being a developer in Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius.

A global release of Aster Tatariqus was initially planned for late 2023, but it was delayed indefinitely on December 2023 as the company wanted to make changes to the game after receiving feedback from players.

As of writing, an official release date for the global version has yet to be announced.

Demon Slayer, the series Aster Tatariqus is collaborating with, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The series was serialized in Shueisha’s Shounen manga magazine Weekly Shounen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020.

An anime adaptation of the manga was produced by Ufotable and was aired from April to September 2019, with a sequel film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train being released in October 2020. The film promptly became the highest-grossing anime film and Japanese film of all time.
