[CES 2024] ASUS Reveals New TUF Gaming F16, A16, and A15 Laptops

ASUS has just revealed the latest generation of TUF Gaming laptops which include the TUF Gaming F16 and TUF Gaming A16 laptop lineup with Intel and AMD processors respectively.

Gaming Performances

All three 2024 TUF Gaming laptops come with performance chips from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA.

The TUF Gaming F16 is available with an Intel Core i7 processor 13650HX with 14 cores and 20 threads, as well as DDR5-4800MHz RAM along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus.

Meanwhile, the TUFF Gaming A16 comes up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX paired with DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and features up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus.

The TUF Gaming A15 features up to an AMD Ryzen 8000 series processors alongside DDR5-5600MHz RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series Laptop GPU with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus.

New Chassis Design

The TUF Gaming A16 and F16 feature a redesigned chassis, with new 16-inch displays and a “mecha” inspired design.

Both the devices feature USB-C PD charging along with a 90Wh battery life, with keyboards having a deep travel distance of 1.7 mm.

In terms of I/O ports, the F16 comes with Thunderbolt , while the A16 sports USB 3.0 Type-C, and the A15 provides Type-C USB4.

Visuals and Audio

The new F16 and A16 comes equipped with a new 16-inch 16:10 aspect ratio display with thin bezels that make for a 90% screen-to-body ratio, while the A15 retains its 16:9 display; all laptops sport a resolution of 2.5K and refresh rate of 165 Hz, coupled with IPS level panel, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.
