Ubisoft had announced their soft-launch roll-out plans for their tactical FPS title, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile, starting by releasing in Latin America followed by other regions at a gradual pace.

In the official announcement on Twitter, the developers noted that Rainbow Six Mobile is still in its testing phase, which is why they want to launch the game in moderate-size territories first, thus they have chosen to start with Latin American regions.

As noted in the announcement, the current focus of Ubisoft is to gather the essential data and feedback from players to fix bugs and glitches and improve upon the game before gradually rolling out to other regions.

The developers had not shared any specific dates as to when the game will launch in any given country, noting that they “prefer to remain agile to focus on the stability of our servers, and making improvements to optimization and gameplay.”

The announcement was made following the reveal that the soft launch of Rainbow Six Mobile had rolled out for players in Chile last week.

Today, Ubisoft has also announced that Rainbow Six Mobile will be rolling out to fans in Colombia on Android devices first over the next 48 to 72 hours.

In a follow-up Tweet, the developers stated that there are crashing issues regarding the iOS version and they are hard at working on resolving it before releasing the iOS version to Colombia players.

While Ubisoft is currently focusing on releasing the tactical FPS title to players in Latin America, Rainbow Six Mobile is already available in both Canada and Mexico in late August and early September this year.

Other regions would, unfortunately, have to wait until Ubisoft made further update announcements regarding the soft launch phase and other regional release dates of Rainbow Six Mobile.
