At the recent Xbox Games Showcase, it was announced that the new Forza Motorsport racing title will be launching on the 10th of October 2023.

Despite its name, it’s actually the 8th game in the Forza Motorsport series and the 13th main installment in the Forza series overall. According to the developers, this is because the game will serve as a reboot of the series and will make use of the greater power of the Xbox Series X|S to craft a more immersive car simulator.
The game will have more than 500 vehicles and 800 upgrades at launch with around 100n of these being new to the series. It will also include elements like Ray Tracing in real time on the track as well as tire ware and different conditions based on the time of day.
Forza Motorsport will be available on the Xbox Series X|S and PC. As a first-party Xbox title, it will also be available for Xbox Game Pass from the first day that it is released.
