ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has today penned a two-year partnership with MOONTON Games, the developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The partnership is aimed at enhancing user gaming experiences across the globe and optimising the performance of the ROG Phone series for tournament usage.
The ROG Phone team has been working closely with MOONTON since 2022 for the Malaysia Professional League, and they will now be expanding beyond regional boundaries to a global scale. This expansion includes four Mobile Legends: Bang Bang international esports tournaments: the Southeast Asia Cup 2023 and 2024, and the M-Series World Championships M5 and M6.
In anticipation of the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023, ROG will be preloading the MLBB app on the ROG Phone 7 series. Additionally, the MLBB theme pack will also be available. This in turn will allow fans to gain better access to the game on the latest ROG Phones.

This alliance promises to provide MLBB gamers with an unparalleled avenue through which they can indulge in the finest forms of esports and gaming content consumption,” says Alexis Wong, MOONTON Games Regional Sales and Business Development Lead for Esports Division.
“At ROG, we develop every ROG Phone with an unwavering focus on performance, power efficiency, and delivering an immersive gaming experience," says Shawn Chang, ASUS Global Sales and Marketing Director of Phone Business Unit. He further adds, “We aim to provide phones with cutting-edge features that enhance the MLBB gaming experience and take esports tournaments to the next level.”
The ROG Phone 7 Series features the Snapdragon 9 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, along with the GameCool 7 thermal system and special ROG tuning. The ROG Phone 7 series also offers 165 Hz refresh rates and a newly built-in subwoofer in the AeroActive Cooler 7, delivering 2.1 channel sound.
The first event to be partnered with ROG is MSC 2023, which takes place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in June.
