Digimon Seekers Web Novel Announced At Digimon Con 2023

At Digimon Con 2023 it was announced that there would be a new Digimon Project called Digimon Seekers which has been described as involving “Web novels, trailers, and products”.

The project will begin on the 3rd of April. Here is the first trailer for the project that was presented on the Digimon Con Stream:

Little has been told about the plot of Digimon Seekers however the novel will take place in a world where Digimon research is just starting up. It will feature an ensemble cast, including the main protagonist named Eiji, who will interact in both the real world and Digital World. The title ‘Seekers apparently comes from the fact that each character is seeking something important to them.

They also introduced new organizations that appear in the Seekers World. The first is ‘The Crackers’ who work with Digimon and The DigiPolice who, as the name implies, control Digimon Crime. Finally, there will be a group of hackers present throughout the story which will include Leon who acts as a rival of sorts to Eiji with his partner Pulsemon.

Eiji’s partner Digimon is a new wolf-inspired Digimon called Loogamon. It’s described as being friendly to people but will bare its fangs when angered.

New Dim Card

Similar to the currently airing Digimon Ghost Game, the Vital Bracelet will be an important part of the story and will be referred to as the ‘Digimon Linker’ within the story and project.

New chapters to the web novel will be released every week and will be available in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Trailers and artwork will be produced simultaneously to go along with the plot.

There will also be a new Digimon Linker Band which you can slip your vital bracelets into to make them look more like the devices in the new novel. A new Loogamon-themed Dim card has also been announced.
