Acer announced an update to their 3D gaming software SpatialLabs today, bringing enhanced functionality with the TrueGame 3D Ultra mode.

Shown off at CES 2023, this update will be available by the end of January, and will be supported by Acer’s Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition laptop.

While the SpatialLabs app previously made better use of depth mapping to sell the 3D visuals in games without the need for 3D glasses, Acer says the SpatialLabs 3D Ultra more accurately mimics actual 3D displays via stereoscopic rendering as well as eye-tracking.

Using the TrueGame app, SpatialLabs works with supported games by loading in pre-set 3D settings for each supported title.

These titles include games like God Of War, Kena: Bridge of Spirits as well as older titles like Nier: Automata.
