Sakurai Takahiro, a popular voice actor who voices Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy VII has been caught in a cheating affair where he had been cheating on his wife for over 10 years.

According to an article by Bungeishunju, a Japanese publishing media company known for its leading monthly magazine of the same name, Sakurai Takahiro has been a personality for an internet radio program “P.S. Genki Desu” for nine years.

The program had ended its long running streak after the news of the cheating affairs had surfaced. Takahiro had cheated on his wife for a writer of the radio show who goes by the handle “A-ko” where she mentioned that she had no prior knowledge that Takahiro had been married.

The Cloud Strife Voice Actor had also issued an apology statement to his cheating affair where he had apologised for the inconvenience caused by his inappropriate behaviour and that he deeply regretted for betraying everyone’s trust.

In his apology statement, he also mentioned that he will reflect on his own actions and work wholeheartedly to restore the trust that he lost.

Sakurai Takahiro has been an extremely popular voice actor ever since his debut back in 1996, having numeral notable roles such as Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII, Kururugi Suzaku from Code Geass, Rohan Kisibe from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and many more.
