The Taimanin Asagi series has gone the chibi route with Taimanin GOGO. Pre-registrations are now available, with accompanying official website and promotional video to go with:

The five girls featured for Taimanin GOGO are new characters with Shinobu Oma, Ine Tanaka, Tamako Hosokawa, Li Wutao, and Esmeralda being your protagonists. The key visual does have the original trio too, for their fans. There are pre-registration rewards up to 150,000 users, offering a total of 3000 premium currency equivalent to 50 gacha pulls when all rewards are obtained.

The game will apparently be some level of rogue-like and isekai theme, with more details to be revealed in time. The series’ earlier mobile outing in Action Taimanin is a hack-and-slash which is also available on PC via Steam. It’s got a global release, with the Japanese server merging with the global one.

This does give some potential for Taimanin GOGO to be available globally as well, though at this stage, we won’t know if they have plans for a simultaneous or delayed worldwide launch. Interestingly, the game is currently planned for a release sometime 2022 even though there isn’t that many months left in the year. In any case, stay tuned for more news and we’ll see how it goes.
