Celebrate Ragnarok Online’s 20th anniversary with Ragnarok X: Next Generation!

Ragnarok Online is 20 years old, so that means Ragnarok X: Next Generation has to be celebrating this momentous occasion too! Accordingly, there will be plenty of updates including new classes for Archer and Mage, increased level cap and max life skill level and a new map.

SOUND OF REMEMBRANCE

The 20 years of Ragnarok Online has produced many soundtracks to immerse players in its world, and Ragnarok X players new and old can take a walk down a musical memory lane to experience the years gone past. In the titular Sound of Remembrance event, obtain Memory Fragments by completing daily event missions or purchasing with Crystals, up to a maximum of 100. Every 5 Memory Fragments will unlock a Memory Disc. The first play can get you a surprise gift, in addition to unlocking the exclusive Elven Ears headgear on unlocking 20 Memory Discs.

COMODO

This new map finally arrives to the game! Indulge in the taverns, entertainment, nightlife and beach for some good ol’ relaxation. However, should you delve even deeper, you can encounter new monsters. New loot will go to the thrill seekers! This includes a new Boss Instance, Mutant Dragonoid. The boss unlocks at level 108, so be sure you’re prepared. Otherwise, you could pursue new MVP and Mini challenges and face down monsters including the Tao Gunka, Lost Dragon, Ogretooth, Necromancer and more.

ARCHER AND MAGE SECOND CLASSES

The Archer Class gets Second Classes in the Dancer and Bard, while the Mage can become a Sage.

Dancers can utilize a new weapon, the whip, to sling projectiles at their enemies, as they mesmerize their foes with their graceful movements. Bards use their music to support their allies and hinder their enemies. Together, they can greatly increase the effectiveness of their party.

Sages gain the ability to cast abilities freely while moving around, giving them more mobility and quicker attacks than other magic classes. With a mystical book in hand, they can add more elemental damage to their magic bolts. They also have the ability to negate their target’s skill and absorb its SP.

GENDER TRANSITION

Last but not least, you can utilize the in-game Gender Conversion voucher upon reaching Base Level 20. Find the NPC Diolos in Prontera to purchase the voucher to activate the function. Other than that, The Book of Travers is an item which allows you to switch to another class.
