Azur Lane will be having a collaboration event with KFC China, with Daniel Ahmad sharing an image of the upcoming event.

The event will be starting July, where players will be able to participate in a lottery in order to obtain a voucher. This voucher can then be exchanged for a collectible item, presumably at select stores where applicable. The lucky winners will have one more step to do, which is to go to the relevant KFC China branch, pose as your favourite character, and say “Azur Lane!” aloud to complete the redemption. What exactly the collectible will be is anyone’s guess at this stage.

It’s certainly a bit more involved than needing the exchange of money for goods and services. Azur Lane is known for fairly saucy art, getting scrutinized by their local government and all, so good luck to the future Commanders about to publicly declare their love for their ship girls.

It’s likely the collab will see related skins obtainable for the actual game if you don’t win the actual draw. Due to licensing issues, players in the global servers may not be able to get any of these bonuses anytime soon, but stay tuned to see how much spicier that fried chicken can get.
