A Fan Has Made a Diablo Immortal Rift Simulator So You Can Whale Harmlessly

Diablo Immortal player dimi777 has made their own Rift Simulator, letting you test your own odds without having to actually fork up cash for Diablo Immortal.

Like the name implies, this site is tuned to the odds of Diablo Immortal’s Elder Rifts- and lets you simulate the haul of clearing one of them, keeping track of how much money it takes to actually run a single Elder Rift.

If you wanted to pretend to be your favorite YouTuber getting your own headlines about your spending, the Diablo Immortal Rift Simulator even has an option to just have the game roll indefinitely for you, only stopping once you get a 5-star Legendary Gem.

Diablo Immortal has been one of two major mobile releases in hot water lately, alongside Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds for its monetization practices.

The game has reportedly made 24 million USD in its first two weeks of launch, but the backlash has it sitting at one of the lowest metacritic scores of all time due to fans upset that the best loot in the game is locked behind a steep paywall.

While not officially related, some fans have even speculated this to be the reason for the game’s sudden delay in its Asia release, seeing as fans aren’t all too happy about the game’s monetization.
