This Official Kingdom Hearts Prop Keyblade Contains a Keyhole Shaped Light at The End

A new keyblade prop has popped up on the Square Enix Japan store, but this one has something special inside it, illuminating light in the shape of a Keyhole.

With this you can project an image of a keyhole onto various surfaces, replicating the action of Sora sealing away the darkness of a new world. You can check more pictures of the light filled keyblade below:

In terms of design, the prop is based on the Kingdom keyblade that Sora uses as his default weapon in every Kingdom Hearts game, complete with the hidden Mickey keychain.

The keyblade is currently open for pre-orders on the Square Enix Japan official store. It will be released on the 17th of September 2022. The item will cost 6,380 yen (roughly RM220) so it is actually fairly affordable, although that doesn’t include shipping costs of course.

In terms of size, it is W360 mm x H100 mm x D27 mm (including chain: W510 mm). The body of the blade is ABS, and the Mickey Mouse keychain is zinc alloy. Batteries will not be included.

The items page notes that the pictures of the item are still a work in progress and that the finished product may look slightly different.

Square Enix recently announced the existence of Kingdom Hearts IV, which will again feature the Kingdom Key that this prop is based on.
