NetEase Connect 2022 has revealed a new character coming to Naraka: Bladepoint, a cursed samurai with a demon living inside him named Takeda Nobutada.

Takeda will be added to the game in the May 20th (May 21st MYT) update with new story features fleshing out his story and interactions with other characters. You can check out the Naraka Bladepoint showcase and see Takeda in action:

Lead Producer for the game, Ray Kuan says he believes that Takeda will freshen up team combinations, especially with characters Kurumi and Tarka Ji, who he has prior history with.

Kuan also have us more information on Naraka Bladepoint’s mobile port. He said that development is going well and that they wish for the mobile port to not only be accessible to the game’s PC player base but bring in new players as well.

The new season of the game will feature new costumes, weapons, and a new battle pass for players to enjoy. The showcase highlighted the exclusive skins for the NBWC Champions.

There will also be a rather interesting new collaboration with the Chinese World Heritage site, the Longmen Grottoes. More details about this collab will be revealed at a later date.

Naraka: Bladepoint is available on Pc via Steam. The game is currently in development for iOS and Android as well.
