Baki: King of Souls, the series’ 30th anniversary celebratory mobile game, has begun accepting pre-registrations in Japan. Additionally, the release window for the title was also revealed, slated for a March 2022 release.

Pre-registrations for Baki: King of Souls can be done via its respective Android and iOS store pages and official Twitter, with milestone rewards to boot, going up to 150,000 users. You can get premium gacha currency, as well as a guaranteed 5-star.

Going by the screenshots, the game will be a vertical fighting RPG, looking reminiscent of Mike Tyson’s Punch Out in first person. Characters from Baki and Baki Hanma will be appearing in the game, with both series available to watch on Netflix should you wish to get to know them ahead of time. You’ll be able to experience for yourself the various iconic fights recreated in game form, with the voice actors reprising their roles as is usually the case.

As far as we know, the game will only be made available in Japan, so fans will need to do the usual song and dance if they wish to obtain this game.
