A combination of distinctive design and helpful copyright lines appears to confirm a future Cytus and Arknights collaboration. The original tweet doesn’t have much fanfare to it, which you can find on the official Rayark account here.

The copyright also looks to indicate that the Arknights collab will be for Cytus II. Going by previous collaboration characters that were made available for the rhythm game, you can expect the companion character and related pack to cost around $9.99 or your regional equivalent, with potentially 10 tracks playable. The characters also have related story lore for extra flavour that you can unlock when playing songs.

If you didn’t already get the idea or are unfamiliar with what Cytus II is, it’s a rhythm game that despite its name, works as a “prequel” to Cytus, which itself is also a rhythm game. The base Cytus II game is purchasable at $1.99 or your regional equivalent, with more in-app purchases for more characters and associated songs, and stories. Arknights, in the mean time, is basically a tower defense game.
