Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 Launches This October With Haunted Adventures

HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3, titled “Memories of Dreams Bygone,” will arrive worldwide on October 15, 2025. In this update, players will explore the Timesworn Hills, a mysterious region filled with ghostly legends.

Miners have vanished without a trace, phantom bells toll in the distance, and hypnotists trap victims in endless dreams. To solve these eerie mysteries, Proxies will join forces with Spook Shack and investigate the haunted ruins scattered across the Hollow.

New Agents Join the Battlefield

Version 2.3 introduces three powerful Agents. First, Lucia (S-Rank Ether Support) manipulates dreamlike powers to recreate Ethereals in combat. She boosts allies’ max HP, increases team damage, and strengthens attacks with Aftershocks.

Next, Yidhari (S-Rank Ice Rupture) thrives on risk. Her power grows as her HP drops, and her ice strikes pierce defenses with Sheer DMG.

Finally, Komano Manato (A-Rank Fire Rupture) deals devastating Sheer DMG with fire-infused blows that scale from his HP.

Moreover, players can recruit Manato for free through a special event. Returning banners will also feature Vivian (Ether – Anomaly) and Ju Fufu (Fire – Stun). Meanwhile, Soldier 0 – Anby receives refined mechanics, allowing her to showcase untapped combat potential.

Fresh Gameplay and Events

The update also brings new modes and activities. For instance, “Threshold Simulation” tests tactical planning by requiring players to deploy multiple squads across linked battles.

In contrast, the event “When Dreams Remain Unfinished” introduces turn-based combat, where players command monsters with unique traits. Completing the event unlocks Agent Manato as a free reward. Additionally, the beloved SNAP! Shining Strike photography event returns. This time, enhanced camera controls, filters, and frames provide greater freedom to capture unforgettable moments.

Rewards and Future Agents

To celebrate the launch, HoYoverse will grant every Proxy a bonus of 600 Polychromes. Furthermore, players will also receive 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. Looking ahead, more characters—such as Banyue, Dialyn, Zhao, and Ye Shunguang—are planned to join future updates. These additions ensure that New Eridu’s story continues to expand while giving fans fresh gameplay opportunities.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 officially launches on October 15. It will be available on PlayStation®5 Pro, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PC, iOS, and Android.
