If you were born in the 90’s, you might remember a certain line of toys from Takara Tomy of robotic animals known as Zoids. If you do, you are in for a treat, but if you don’t that’s fine too, since this new smartphone game does not require any knowledge of the franchise to play. Zoids: Field of Rebellion has just launched, with an accompanying trailer which showcases mecha action incorporated into MOBA gameplay.

This free-to-play online arena game has you pitting Zoids against one another in a 4v4 real-time battles on your mobile device. You will be able to customise your Zoid units to your liking to take on a variety of enemies. You are confined to MOBA rules for the most part, and as such have to defend your base against invaders.
