Nexon has announced that they will be working on a PvE game with the Warhammer Age of Sigmar license, though few other details were given.

They did announce that the game would be launching globally- presumably a simultaneous launch, though that wasn’t confirmed, either.

Instead, they did manage to announce the platforms on the game, seeing a PC, Console and Mobile release for the upcoming title.

Built on the legacy of Age of Sigmar®1, the new Virtual World will feature a socially interactive player-versus-environment world supported by Nexon’s world-class Live Operations for sustaining the fun with new content and service.

It is an era of war. The Mortal Realms have been despoiled. Ravaged by the followers of the Chaos Gods, they stand on the brink of destruction. Players will command the war hosts of the God-king Sigmar and his allies as they fight to reignite hope and bring order back to the realms. Each season, players will collect characters and enter new realms. Each character comes with unique options, stories and gameplay. Players will be able to customize their characters and work cooperatively to guide how sections of the Realms are retaken.

Age of Sigmar is the Warhammer off-shoot of Warhammer Fantasy, featuring new races such as the Stormcast Eternals and Nighthaunt. Considering its newer status in the Warhammer mega-IP, it has less games than the original Warhammer Fantasy and its sci-fi spin, Warhammer 40k.
