Triangle Strategy game overview, Square Enix’s brand new tactical RPG

Square Enix has released an overview for Triangle Strategy, its brand new tactical RPG. The game will be launching on Nintendo Switch, 4 March 2022.

A dramatic story awaits you, presented in stunning HD-2D graphics with a complex battle system reminiscent of retro tactical RPGs. Make difficult choices as you try to navigate the war-torn land of Norzelia. The tenuous peace is broken between the three nations – the Holy State of Hyzante, the Grand Duchy of Aesfrost, and the Kingdom of Glenbrook – and as Serenoa Wolffort, you will need to somehow make it through.

Learn how to coordinate and perform follow-up attacks as you wrestle with field elevation and strategic formations in order to claim victory. The parameters of Utility, Morality and Liberty may be unseen, but will nonetheless determine your Conviction and affect how the story branches. Important decisions will have to be weighed by the Scales of Conviction. These votes will have profound effects on both the story, and the fate of your party.

Feedback from the demo has been taken into consideration, with improvements made to the full game:

• Features including a conversation log, event / information overviews, character profiles
