Trails/Kiseki fans, rejoice! Nihon Falcom has confirmed that The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will be coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam in Fall 2025. Initially confirmed only for the Nintendo Switch, this announcement expands the game’s reach to a wider audience, with all platforms receiving the remake simultaneously.

This full remake brings a fresh perspective to the beloved original. Set in the continent of Zemuria, the game follows Estelle Bright and her adopted brother Joshua as they strive to become Bracers, helping the people of the Liberl Kingdom. Their journey, filled with mystery and danger, forms the foundation of the expansive Trails series.

The remake will feature updated gameplay mechanics, including action on the field, allowing players to gain the advantage before transitioning into the traditional command-based battles. These enhancements, alongside modern gameplay conveniences, aim to improve the overall experience, making the game more accessible to new players while retaining the charm of the original.
