As announced 6 months ago, the Tokyo Revengers mobile game has finally been unveiled, and it is indeed a puzzle game. Pre-registrations are available in Japan through the Google Play Store, while iOS will be coming soon.

The pre-registration rewards go up to 300,000 users, with the 100,000 milestone already hit at time of writing. You’ll be able to get a total of 12 pulls in the gacha at 300,000, and Twitter icons at 150k and 250k users.

Going by the screenshots on the official website, the Tokyo Revengers mobile game would have gameplay similar to other match puzzle games where up to 6 characters in a “party” will power up as you make the matches and be able to use their special skills. There’s a mix of chibi and full body art, and you can be on your road to conquest from node to node. One of the highlights of the game is that it will have some game original costumes, presumably to be available through the gacha.

There’s no indication when the game will officially launch besides the original “within 2022” announcement. As for more of the anime, the latest trailer says the next season would be coming out January 2023. A new trailer for that was released a couple of days ago, which you can see below:
